About The 2025 Open Mic Awards
Every week, at bars, coffee shops, nightclubs, restaurants and theatres around the world, up & coming singers and bands are showcasing their music skills during Open Mic Nights.
Now it's time those singers & bands are recognized
for their outstanding talents!
Join us in Hollywood, Sunday December 14, 2025 for
The 2025 Open Mic Awards!
Held at the Hang On to the Dream Theatre located right in the heart of Hollywood,
come and hear some of the BEST up & coming singers and bands of all genres
as they are presented awards for the outstanding achievements in music!
Schedule of Events
Submission Guidelines
1) While the 2025 Open Mic Awards was created to recognize the outstanding talent that performs in open mic events around the world, all singers and bands are welcome to enter the awards competition provided that they have participated in at least one open mic music event in the past year.
2) All songs being submitted for award consideration must be loaded into a music or video player (i.e. Spotify, Soundcloud, You Tube, or on your personal website). No downloads will be accepted.
3) Any song (whether it has been "released" at the time of submission, or if it is still "unreleased") CAN be submitted for awards consideration. Songs can be submitted regardless as to when they were recorded and/or released.
4) Original music, or music of which the artist has a legal right to submit for award consideration, is eligible for submission.
5) Artists can submit themselves performing a cover song, as long as they mark the appropriate box in the submission form stating that the song is a cover song.
Judging:
There is no need to encourage your family, friends and/or fans to vote for your submission.
Whether you have a million fans, or just one, the judging process for the
Open Mic Awards is done by a panel of music industry professionals (i.e., A & R reps, radio DJs, radio station Program Directors, Music Directors, Music Producers, managers, agents, etc.) from around the world in the genres of their expertise. Thus, all submissions are given equal consideration regardless of fan input.
Awards:
The submissions in each category with the highest scores from the judges will advance on to "Nominee" status, from which the winner will be decided and announced during the Open Mic Awards ceremony.
There is no additional submission fee for "Nominees" to advance on to the final round of judging.
Winners will receive a complimentary, fully engraved trophy, which will be presented to them in person during the awards ceremony event. If a winner is not able to receive their trophy in person, their trophy can be mailed to them following the awards, however the winner will be responsible for all postage, handling & shipping charges. The Open Mic Awards is not responsible for lost, damaged or stolen awards.
All submission fees are non-changeable and non-refundable.
